The Green Credit Programme Registry provides information regarding registration of plantation activities as well as the registration land as plantation blocks which can be used for afforestation programmes.

The Registry consists of a standardized electronic database that contains data regarding issuance of Green Credits, awarded for plantation activities, based on standard methodology.

Green Credits are certificates that are awarded to individuals and entities for undertaking environment-friendly activity of afforestation which provides multiple benefits to the environment.
